Exhibition Date: February 2024

 Are you a Queer or Migrant artist with a powerful story to tell through your art? We invite you to be part of our exhibition that will shine a spotlight on an intersection of identities, experiences, and creativity.

 

About the Exhibition:

The Queer Migrant Pride Exhibition in February 2024 aims to create a safe, inclusive, and empowering space. Through your art, we want to explore the multifaceted nature of your experiences, challenges, and triumphs, while celebrating the diverse cultural contributions that make our world more vibrant.

 

What We're Looking For:

We welcome a wide range of art forms, including but not limited to painting, sculpture, photography, digital art, performance, and mixed media.

 

How to Submit:

To submit your artwork for consideration, please send the following to beginning@theend.co.nz

1. High-resolution images or documentation of your artwork.

2. A brief artist statement (200-300 words) describing your piece and how it relates to the theme.

3. Your contact information, including your name, preferred pronouns, and a brief bio.

4. Optional: A short video or audio clip (no longer than 2 minutes) where you discuss your inspiration and connection to the Queer Migrant experience.

 

Submission Deadline: January 10th, 2024
