The Point of Incidence

  • 68 New North Road 68 New North Road Auckland, Auckland, 1021 New Zealand (map)

This installation and dance-film works by Amber Liberté, examine the complexity and quietness of reflection, and the intrinsic connection to things outside of ourselves, and them to us, whether we are aware of this or not.

“the way we perceive the world is very much a reflection of our inner worlds:

the people in it / the landscape surrounding us / the different cultures / the environment / the state of things / the art we respond to / the people we cross paths with  / our habitats and habits / the cultures we carry / the environments we’re surrounded by / the continual internal and external shifting state of things

we are a mirror image to all living things,
while they reflect our inner worlds back to us”
